Monaka Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Monaka. By using Monaka, you agree to these terms.

About Monaka

Monaka is a personal finance organization app. It helps you import statement files, review transactions, track accounts and projects, save receipts, scan receipt text, convert currencies, and export your own records.

Monaka is not a bank, broker, accountant, tax advisor, financial advisor, or payment provider.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter, import, scan, edit, export, or share using Monaka. You should review imported transactions, OCR results, currency conversions, calculations, exports, and reports before relying on them.

Monaka may contain errors, and OCR or imported data may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for keeping independent records where required.

Financial Information

Monaka is provided for personal organization and recordkeeping. Nothing in Monaka is financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice.

You are responsible for decisions you make based on information shown in Monaka.

Subscriptions

Monaka offers optional Monaka Pro subscriptions through Apple. Subscription options, prices, trial availability, billing periods, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple ID.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

Free features and Pro features may change over time. If a subscription is canceled, expires, or cannot be verified, Pro features may become unavailable.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Monaka, attempt to interfere with the app, reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, use the app to violate laws or third-party rights, or upload/import content you do not have the right to use.

Your Data and Exports

You control the records you add to Monaka. If you export, share, or back up data, you are responsible for where those files go and who can access them.

Availability and Changes

Monaka may change, add, or remove features. We may update the app, change limits, adjust Pro features, or stop supporting older versions. Some features depend on device capabilities, operating system support, Apple services, or permissions you grant.

Disclaimer

Monaka is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phi Doan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, financial losses, or business interruption arising from your use of Monaka.

Termination

You may stop using Monaka at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to parts of Monaka if required by law, platform rules, or misuse of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Monaka changes. The effective date above will be updated when the terms change.
